I used Engenius to install PV panels some years ago, and when I decided to move house last year I unhesitatingly decided to use them again. Gone are the days of generous Feed-in Tariffs, but installing PV panels just seems the right thing to do for the planet, and by including a battery system I hope to generate and store a good proportion of the electricity I need.  They are great people to deal with – knowledgeable but not at all pushy, pay good attention to detail and helped me to decide on the most appropriate set-up for my situation. The various people who did the installation were pleasant and helpful, reliable and did a good job of leaving the place clean and tidy. I cannot speak too highly of this company.

We first met Engenius in 2007 when they installed our PV array, it being one of their first solar installations on the mainland. Our 28 panels have been making electricity for us trouble-free ever since. Last week they fitted our Zappi 2 charger which allows us to charge our Nissan Leaf with our own home-grown power. We are impressed with their patience and skill, allowing us to understand and join the age of renewable energy and enjoy the benefits.

My wife and I would just like to say how delighted we are with the way in which our Tesla Powerwall 2 was installed and, in particular, pay tribute to your guys. Your technicians were absolutely delightful to deal with and be around. They were professional, courteous and thorough.  Getting the Powerwall into our premises was very challenging but they stayed cool and worked through the issues with no fuss and a smile.  They were almost obsessed with making sure it ended up on our wall unmarked. The final finished job could not have been better, and the commissioning of the Powerwall just as thorough – what a refreshing change to see this level of customer service. I will most certainly recommend you and your company products to others.

We had our Telsa Powerwall 2 installed in November 2019, complementing our solar panels which are now nine years old.  We are delighted with the performance and effectiveness of the Powerwall. In April our electricity meter didn’t move forward at all and we self-generated electricity for all our needs including cooking and water heating!  Engenius made an excellent and neat job of the installation and integrated the Powerwall into our existing system without any issues.  They were professional and knowledgeable and always kept us informed of progress.  We have great confidence and trust in Engenius as an experienced and committed company working in solar energy solutions.

Last year we approached several companies to quote for the supply and fitting of solar panels and a domestic battery for our self-build property.  We had a fairly clear idea of what we needed, but several suppliers had arrived and in fairly short order would tell us – “what you need is…”  In contrast, we were particularly impressed with Engenius – an Island-based company – because they spent several hours working with us, understanding what we wanted and discussing several options in terms of equipment. We wanted the maximum number of panels we could fit on the roof, and a decent-sized domestic battery.  The two energy stores were to be the hot water tank, and the battery in that order.  Any excess would go to the grid. Recognising that our scaffolding would be coming down in six weeks, Engenius split the work into three phases and were promptly on site.  The first was to secure the panels to the roof and work with us to route the necessary cables to the plant room.  The second phase was to install the control equipment, and once the battery was available the third phase was to complete the installation. At every stage of the process, Engenius kept us fully informed and were always prepared to explain what they were doing.  The quality of their work was exceptional, particularly how the meticulous wiring complimented the neat pipework in the plant room. We would recommend Engenius without reservation, and if a serious future client wishes to come and look at our system (by appointment) – they would be most welcome.
